Glenmore Country Club is just an hour and 15 minutes west of Richmond (okay Short Pump) but I have to tell you….The drive was a gift in itself.    The trees were absolutely breaktaking !!  It was a super rainy day and unfortunately the happy couple had to move the festivities indoors, but had they held out they would have enjoyed one of th emost beautiful sunsets ever.   The staff at the Glenmore Country Club was outstanding and accommodating.    The bride was exceptionally gorgeous and the crowd well…let’s just say they left behind the most outrageous photobooth strip that’s EVER been left behind before.  I saw the very guys who created the strip at the closest gas station on my way out of town (you know who you are and what you did in the booth).    The best man gave the BEST toast I’ve heard to date and that’s 132 wedding into this gig people.   I laughed out loud, cried and could hardly control myself in between the two. 

Jaclyn and Shareef had send-off sparklers at their wedding, something I attempted at my very own wedding and successfully created a smoke storm that set off asthma attacks throughout the crowd.   Seriously, if I posted pix from my wedding you would all bust out laughing.  In my head I pictured the effect they achieved perfectly, but it just didn’t happen for me.

They provided a limitted amount of props for the photobooth and I applaud their decision.  We provide props, but what we find is that everyone starts to look the same in the pictures.  You’d have to see it to believe it.   They only had a select fun few and it worked beautifully.  I’m going to copy their approach. 

All in all the group was simply lovely and I have the photostrip they left behind.  WOW !!!

Skirt Magazine and Freeze Frame Photobooth rocked out The shops at 5807  last night.  Thanks to all the fabulous ladies and gents who bidded on the amazing  Witch hats.  SKIRT’s own Beth made a fabulous “scary go round’  hat that was pretty killer (how did I NOT get a picture?).   All proceeds went to the Massey Cancer Center and everyone enjoyed the fabulous eats from The Melting Pot while drinking champagne and wine from blinking stemware.    Ghouls night out was a success and as usual, there was some wild activity in the photobooth.  Courtney of Merriment Events created a fun Halloween props table, so the pix were pretty funny.    I like it when they keep me entertained.
